Claudia Espinosa, John Jay '10, moved alone to NYC from Colombia in 2000, taking ESL classes at Queens College. Graduating magna cum laude from John Jay’s BA/MA program in forensic psychology, she then founded the Latinas On the Verge of Excellence mentoring program. A skilled social entrepreneur, Claudia received an Ed.M. degree in school leadership from Harvard in 2019.
