Let's Pray Together
As a community of faith, let’s pause today at 10am & 4pm
for a time of silence and/or words of your own choosing.

Almighty God, giver of every good and perfect gift, please watch over those who find themselves worrying and despairing over their adult children. Whether near or far away, our current call to "distancing" can leave one feeling helpless, and afraid. No longer small, and dependent upon their parents for daily sustenance, these young adults are facing what could be their first crisis, seemingly on their own. Empower these parents with the strength and encouragement that can only come from God, the perfect parent. Let them realize the power of their own prayers, and the loving guidance of You, O Lord, to guide their children's steps during this crisis. Give these parents peace that You are in control. "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7 GLORY BE TO THE FATHER, AND TO THE SON, AND TO THE HOLY SPIRIT. AS IT WAS IN THE BEGINNING, IS NOW, AND EVER SHALL BE, WORLD WITHOUT END. Amen
