This week's theme is REINVEST

“There is no more profitable investment than investing in yourself. It is the best investment you can make; you can never go wrong with it. It is the true way to improve yourself to be the best version of you and lets you be able to best serve those around you.”

― Roy T. Bennett,

Today's Advice
Your time
Your talent
Your treasure

Three pillars that hold the foundation to your character- your being.

We’ve all made choices about how to use our time, how to use our talents, and where to spend our treasure.

It’s time to REINVEST, though; to pause and take stock in where your time, talent, and treasure lie, and to reconsider how reinvesting could change your future, and your community’s future.

What does it look like to reengage with others and make a difference in the lives of others? Watch the video below.
Week 5 Goals:

REINVEST with the YMCA: Southern Community Services
We at the YMCA of York and York County REINVEST in York with Southern Community Services, our food and clothing pantry based out of The W. Dale Brougher Foundation YMCA in Shrewsbury.
During the pandemic, we transitioned to curbside food pickup for the increasing numbers of clients coming to the pantry!
More than just a food and clothing pantry, Southern Community Services also provides case management, referral services, utility assistance, and more to hundreds of people in need every month in rural Southern York County!
Check out this video to see Southern Community Services in action in this live recording of a food distribution from May, 2020!

Matthew 4:18-20 ESV

“While walking by the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon (who is called Peter) and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea, for they were fishermen. And he said to them, "Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men." Immediately they left their nets and followed him.”
Too often in this life we fail to recognize the call of something good.
