Let’s Rebuild Notre-Dame Together
The entire Alliance Française Mpls/St Paul famille was heartbroken when we saw Notre-Dame de Paris, an indelible symbol of Paris and France, in flames.

That this tragedy happened during Holy Week, the most important week on the Catholic calendar, adds to the sadness of many Parisians, who worship there for Easter Sunday. Like all tragedies of this magnitude, watching something that loomed so large succumb to fire is absolutely devastating and hurts us to the core.

We are grateful for the heroic firefighters who saved much of the beloved landmark and its irreplaceable art and artifacts, and overcome by the outpouring of support from our friends here and around the world.

To help us rebuild Notre-Dame to its former glory please consider donating to the Friends of Notre-Dame . As President Macron said, “This cathedral, Notre-Dame, We will rebuild it. All together. It is part of our French destiny.”
Lane Rosenthal, owner of tour company Paris Off Script and AF member, shares with us her feelings and some emotional photos about this tragedy. Merci Lane pour ce partage rempli d'émotions!
