In 2004 —The company gained its first client four years later in the recall election of Hugo Chavez.  

2005, Smartmatic purchased Sequoia Voting Systems from British firm De La Rue Plc.  

In October 2006, the New York Times published, ‘U.S. Investigates Voting Machines’ Venezuela Ties,’ about a formal inquiry into Smartmatic and its subsidiary, Sequoia Voting Systems of Oakland, CA.

Realizing this well-documented history of scapegoats and scandals, ask yourself why politicians from both political parties — and their media lapdogs, NGOs, and disinformed influencer class — claim Venezuela’s historical role in US election technology is a crazy conspiracy theory made up by Sidney Powell to help Donald Trump.

Barack Obama knew.  Amy Klobuchar knew.  Eric Holder knew. John Bonifaz — one of the prominent leftists that coordinated suing me for election denialism (and signed the pleadings) — also knew.

In 2024, as key Smartmatic players get rolled up and US leaders feign shock and surprise, ask yourself why elected officials and institutions are lying about well documented and fully verifiable historical facts. ‘Safe and secure’ is a house of cards, and the wind is blowing.

Smartmatics and Dominion Voting Machines

Smartmatics is the company that owns the software patents for Dominion voting machines. This was yesterday's headlines in NPR - Smartmatic executives charged in alleged bribery scheme in the Philippines.   Is this what we want as a backbone of integrity behind our elections?  

Smartmatic Executives Charged in Alleged Bribery Scheme in the Philippines NPR, AUGUST 9, 2024, 

The president and two executives of the voting machine company Smartmatic are facing federal charges tied to allegations of bribing the former top election official in the Philippines.

Federal prosecutors in Miami allege that between 2015 to 2018, Roger Alejandro Pinate Martinez, 49, a Venezuelan citizen, Florida resident and co-founder and president of Smartmatic and Jorge Miguel Vasquez, 62, a Smartmatic executive based in Florida, paid Juan Andres Donato Bautista, 60, at least $1 million in bribes during his time as chairman of the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) from 2015 to 2017.

The alleged goal to bribe Bautista was to win business tied to providing voting machines and election services for the 2016 elections in the Philippines, prosecutors said. They allege the men over-invoiced the cost per voting machine for the 2016 Philippine elections and used slush funds and coded language to hide payments.
