Stand Tall for Small
The Partnership has joined with a coalition of business and civic leaders from across the state of Texas on a new public service announcement (PSA) called “Stand Tall for Small – Wear a Mask.” The PSA – created by co-leader of the “Don’t Mess with Texas” anti-litter campaign Roy Spence – focuses on the importance of helping small businesses recover from the economic devastation of this public health crisis and the need to wear masks to aid their return.

As we are all aware, COVID-19 cases in the state have risen sharply, making Texas one of the leading states with the highest number of coronavirus infections in the nation. In response, Texas business and civic leaders came together to deliver this important PSA message to all Texans. In addition to asking Texans to “Stand Tall for Small,” the PSA emphasizes our collective responsibility to wear a face mask in public to give our small businesses a fighting chance to recover.

We encourage you to share this PSA with your staff and consider posting to your organization’s social media accounts where appropriate. As we’ve said before, wearing a mask, social distancing and frequently washing your hands are the main tools we have right now to fight COVID-19—and they work. We must keep reminding those around us of the important role each of us plays in this effort.
