Advocacy in Action
This month, we stood united with YWCAs across the country to meet with our federal delegation and advocate for the critical funding our programs rely on.
We met with U.S. Senator Chris Coons and the teams of U.S. Senator Lisa Blunt Rochester and Congresswoman Sarah McBride. We asked them to protect funding to support our Sexual Assault Response Center (SARC) and Home-Life Management Center programming, which depend on funding from VOCA, VAWA, FVPSP, and HUD, including CoC and Rapid Rehousing.
While our delegation continues to champion our mission, we recognize the challenges they face in securing the resources our communities rely on.
