Hello friends!

Since May 9, we have visited Spring Creek Canyon, Jo Hays Vista, Benner Spring, Penn Roosevelt State Park, and Galbraith Gap through self-guided adventures. It's been great seeing so many of you out on the trail this spring!

And at last, we're excited to announce that our guided adventures are back!

Our first guided adventures will take place at Shaver's Creek Environmental Center beginning this Sunday, June 13. We have guided nature walks scheduled for Sunday at 1 and 3 pm, Wednesday at 9 and 11 am, and Friday 6 pm. Please note: Pre-registration is required for all participants for this week (see details below).

Wellness activities, new for 2021! Register for forest bathing, June 18 at 4:30 p.m.

You're invited to register for our first wellness activity of the season - a forest bathing experience on Friday, June 18 at 4:30 at Shaver's Creek. Certified Nature Therapy Guide and PA Master Naturalist, Lucy Heggenstaller will guide participants as they "awaken their senses and promote mindfulness, awaken the imagination, and promote nature connection." Please note: Registration for this event is limited, so please sign up today if you are interested.

Stay tuned, the fun and adventure continues all summer long!

Following our week at Shaver's Creek, we'll be visiting the Lower Trail, Williamsburg Station on June 20, 23, and 25. The trail is perfect for hikers, bikers, and birdwatchers of all ages and fitness levels. Stay tuned to this Adventure Guide for information about future events and wellness activities!

Thanks, we look forward to exploring with you soon!

P.S. If you didn't make it out to a self-guided adventure earlier this season, it's not too late because all Centred Outdoors destinations are open to the public and free to visit!
