TMP Faculty Mentor
Dr. Ray Quock on the value of mentoring and networking in the students’ educational/career development journey.
“I had two students contact me following the Research Opportunities Virtual Fair on 2/3-4/2021.  They were interviewed by my undergraduate student researcher who recommended them for participation in our work in the future.  Active hands-on participation in research is an important part of contributing to the student’s motivation and plans for future development.  I had my first research opportunity when I was in high school and had a terrific mentor at UCSF.  This early exposure started me off on my professional career.”
