Growing Leaders at UNITY Midyear Conference


NB3 Foundation Youth Council members attended the 2026 UNITY Midyear Conference in Phoenix, joining more than 700 Indigenous youth nationwide. Guided by the theme “Collective Impact: Building Power Through Purpose,” they took part in the Mental Health & Wellness Track with WeRNative, developing action plans to support Native youth well-being and community change.

The Healthy Beverage Summit returns in 2026 for the first time since 2019, bringing updated resources, shared learning and community driven solutions. Join us July 16 at the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center in Albuquerque to connect around healthy hydration in Native communities.

Join us for the NB3 Foundation Topgolf Tournament on March 22 at Topgolf Albuquerque for an afternoon of fun, connection and friendly competition. No golf experience is required this event is open to everyone and brings together friends, coworkers and community members. All proceeds support Native youth programs.

Welcome UNM graduate student Jessica Sanchez


The Evaluation and Research Department welcomes Jessica Sanchez, a UNM public health graduate student, as our new Health Champion through the UNM Student Employment Office. Jessica brings a passion for Indigenous, community-based approaches to supporting Native youth health.

NB3 Foundation’s Spring Soccer League is back, giving youth ages 6–10 a fun, supportive place to build skills, confidence and teamwork. The 7-week season includes weekly practices and games at community sites. Registration is now open, with multi-child discounts available. We’re also looking for volunteer coaches who want to support youth and be part of a positive, community-driven league.

NB3 Foundation’s Track & Field season is open to youth ages 7-18 and focuses on building strength, skills and confidence through movement. The spring season runs March 22 through June 18, with opportunities to compete at regional and national meets in July. We’re also looking for new and experienced volunteer coaches who want to help lead youth, build active communities and make a positive impact.

NB3FIT Spring Jr. Golf introduces youth ages 6-18 to the game of golf in a fun, supportive environment. Over eight weeks, participants learn golf fundamentals while building confidence and healthy habits. The program is open to beginners and returning players.

NB3 Foundation’s Spring Tennis program is open to youth ages 8-15 and focuses on learning fundamentals through games, drills and movement. This 8-week program is designed for beginners and returning players alike. Practices take place at local community sites, with a weekly play day for all athletes.
