Women's March
January 18th 12:00 PM

Hundreds of women, girls and the people who support them will converge on downtown Tulsa (Guthrie Green) on Saturday, Jan. 18 2020 for the fourth annual Women's March. The women of Tulsa will rally for positive change and sustained engagement in intersectional women’s rights, human rights, social and environmental justice, worker’s rights, pay equity, reproductive rights, immigration reform, child care, incarceration rates, gun control, LGBTQ rights and health care for all. The event will also push for voter registration and encourage citizen engagement and activism as a lifelong habit. Get Involved, Rally, and March!

Democrats walk in the MLK Parade

Want to help represent the Tulsa County Democratic Party at the annual Martin Luther King Parade? Meet us South of Fairview on Boston Ave (near 598 N Boston, Tulsa) with your beautifully made sign. Line up begins at 10:00 am, TCDP is number 128, and the parade will begin at 11:00 AM.

Tulsa County Democratic Book Fair
Join us at our headquarters (3930 E 31st Street, Tulsa) and nab a book for your new year resolution. The money collected at the book fair will go towards Congressional District 1 elections in 2020.

This ODP training will cover everything from campaign strategy – using the voter file, targeting voters, fundraising best practices and strategy, communications planning, and volunteer management – to messaging on various policy-related issues affecting Oklahoma. It is our goal to not only train candidates and their staff but equip grassroots volunteers with information that they can share with voters in their own communities effectively and through relatable stories. Oklahoma Women’s Coalition is proud to again partner with the Carl Albert Center’s Women’s Leadership Programs to present the 2020 Pipeline to Politics conference in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Pipeline to Politics is a one-day, non-partisan educational program designed for women interested in increasing their involvement in politics and public service. The program’s goal is to address the historic under-representation of women in politics and public life by providing participants with necessary tools to enter, stay in and emerge from the political pipeline. If you are a Precinct Chair, Vice-Chair or Secretary you are a voting delegate to this convention. If you were a Delegate in the 2019 State Convention you are a voting delegate. We will be discussing the process of becoming a Delegate at our February luncheon.
