The County Board will vote on approving the Amazon headquarters performance agreement on Saturday, March 16. Amazon’s headquarters offers many benefits to our community, driving economic activity and making a more prosperous Arlington for all. We cannot take this decision for granted, and are asking for your help.

How you can help
 
It’s important for the County Board to hear from the many Arlington businesses and residents who support welcoming Amazon to Arlington. For ease, we’ve prepared sample messages:

  1. Click the appropriate button – we have draft messages for businesses and residents.
  2. Copy the text into a blank email (or if you prefer, into a blank document on your letterhead).
  3. Customize the message as you desire. Personal notes with your own thoughts go a long way.
  4. Sign the letter at the bottom with your name and business or neighborhood.
  5. Send your message to [email protected]. We encourage you to BCC [email protected].
If you live or work near where Amazon's headquarters will be located – in Crystal City, Pentagon City, Potomac Yard, or nearby neighborhoods – you may want to address the specific benefits that the Amazon headquarters will have for your area. These templates contain some neighborhood-specific points. As with the general templates, feel free to customize.
