Just a couple of months ago, we awarded our third round of grants to local nonprofits that are making our community stronger, kinder, and more just. We were able to do that because of amazing members like you—who not only came together to collectively fund these high-impact grants, but to power an all-volunteer women's philanthropic effort.
Now, it's time to look towards next year's grants and what we want to accomplish together. The deadline to renew or join Impact100 DC for next year's grant is December 31, 2023—and even though it's a couple of months away, starting to renew and recruit right now is crucial.
Every year at the Big Give celebration, we hear members say that they wish they could give the $100,000 to every finalist. With a bigger membership, we could get closer and closer to doing just that.
Here are steps to get started:
1. If you haven't already, click here to renew your membership today.
2. Forward this email to a friend, family member, or another woman in our community who can help advance our mission and encourage them to join.
3. Use our Recruitment Toolkit to craft your own email or note to a prospective member. The toolkit includes language for an email, FAQs, an overview of what we've accomplished so far, and our brochure.
4. Keep an eye out for special recruitment events this fall!
