This full moon is known as the Pink Moon because it marks the appearance of the moss pink, or wild ground phlox, which is one of the first spring flowers.

Lyrids Meteor Shower | April 16 – April 25
The radiant of the meteor shower is located in the constellation Lyra, near its brightest star, Vega. The peak of the shower is typically around April 22 each year.
