Dear Wildflower Community,

First and foremost, I want to pay tribute to Cyndi Jones, founder of Wildflower. Were it not for her vision and courage, countless lives would not have been touched so profoundly, and I would not have this incredible opportunity to serve as Chair. Cyndi’s ability to turn personal tragedy into something so meaningful is rare, and I am honored to continue her legacy.

Wildflower exists to provide comfort, support, and guidance to families in their most difficult moments. I am proud to carry this mission forward and honored to have the opportunity to help more families find light amidst the darkness.

My own journey has been shaped by loss. When I discovered Wildflower, I immediately felt a connection to its mission and was compelled to become more involved. After joining Wildflower’s Governance Committee, I realized then that I wanted to give back more deeply.

Serving on Wildflower's Governance Committee gave me a profound appreciation for the transformative power of our mission and the remarkable team that drives it. When Cyndi announced she would step down as Chair, I felt ready to take on the responsibility, and I embraced the opportunity without hesitation. The Board of Directors’ unanimous vote affirmed my commitment, and now it is my time to lead. I approach this role with energy, dedication, and a deep sense of purpose, fully prepared to serve.

Wildflower means so much to me, not only because of the mission, but because of the incredible team I am fortunate to work alongside. I look forward to meeting many more of you in the days and months ahead.

The road ahead is full of possibility. My priorities are clear, to deepen our support for families navigating loss, to expand the partnerships and donor relationships that fuel our work, and to ensure that every family who needs Wildflower can find us.

There are exciting events in the works soon and I hope you will be a part of it. I am pleased to reveal a glimpse into our extraordinary future plans with the establishment of The Cyndi Jones Scholarship Fund — a promise of healing camp summers for generations to come.

Wildflower has always been led by remarkable people. I am honored to help lead what we will build next and excited for the future we will shape together.

Together with purpose,

Carolann Danielczyk
