As Halo House Foundation’s new Executive Director, I am humbled and honored to have the opportunity to advance our mission of making lives better for people battling blood cancers. I am delighted in the possibilities for growth and service that I see before us and invite you to join us on this exciting journey!
As we are all navigating these uncertain times in our city and country, I’d like to assure you that we at Halo House are doing everything in our power to maintain a safe and healthy environment for our guests and staff. We realize the great responsibility that is placed on us and we take that responsibility seriously. Staff has begun working remotely but are in constant contact with our wonderful resident managers, Amy and Cindy. We are still moving people in, albeit with extra screening procedures in place, and we are making sure that our guests are hearing from us regularly through our social media channels, events such as our “Welcome Spring” door decorating contest, and other communication avenues. Beginning in May, you will begin receiving a monthly e-newsletter in your inbox and we hope you find it interesting and inspiring. We want to continue to connect with you, our guests, former guests, donors, and volunteers in a way that is meaningful to you, so I welcome your input and suggestions.
