Happy New Year!
Dear Fellow Scituate Chamber Members,
I am excited and honored to begin my new role as President of the Scituate Chamber of Commerce for 2024. It promises to be an exciting year as our membership continues to grow with new members and businesses bringing fresh ideas and positive energy to the Scituate community as a whole.
I first joined the Scituate Chamber Board back in 2001 and I’m so grateful to the Board members who welcomed me back then and encouraged me to get involved, join a committee and help with events. It’s how I began to grow my professional network and my business. What I didn’t realize at the time is that I would also make so many wonderful friends along the way.
My hope is that all Chamber members will get to know each other better and develop new relationships and initiatives that support businesses and the Scituate community as a whole. We'll be sending out more information about joining one of our committees in the days and weeks ahead. In the meantime, please feel free to reach out by email if you have any ideas or suggestions.
Our first event is coming up next week, Tuesday, January 30th, and features three Chamber members. Sheila May of May Tax Services will share important tax updates to know before you file your 2023 taxes. We’ll meet in the conference room of The Reel Harbor Theater thanks to Emily McCullough. Concessions will be available and we’ve ordered some light bites from Chris at CP’s Pizza.
