Huerta Scholarship Giving Update

University of Arizona Law and the Indigenous Peoples Law and Policy Program are excited for another successful #GivingTuesday Huerta Scholarship campaign, taking place November 30, 2021.

This #GivingTuesday, please support the next generation of Native lawyers attending University of Arizona Law by donating to the Huerta Scholarship, named for Judge Lawrence Huerta ('53).

With your support, last year we raised more than $24,000 for Native law students attending University of Arizona Law. This year our goal is to raise $30,000 in support of our Native law students.

Thanks to the generosity of University of Arizona Law alumni and supporters Deborah Sliz ('79), Alan Yandow, Gabriela Magee ('15), Justin Ruggieri ('00), and Gabe Galanda ('00), your donations will be tripled November 24 through #GivingTuesday on November 30, up to $6,000 total, for our 3x matching gift challenge. LawCats Live: #GivingTuesday, Huerta Scholarship Edition

Learn how your support of the Huerta Scholarship helps students realize their dreams of attending law school and find out about the global Indigenous advocacy work our students are engaged in.
