Dear ASHE community, 

Over the last two weeks, community members, including a number of ASHE volunteer leaders, identified harm experienced by Black womyn in the ASHE community recently and historically. In alignment with our values of integrity, responsibility, honesty, respect, and fairness, the ASHE Board takes these matters very seriously.

In this moment, it is critical for us collectively to reflect, learn, grow, and do better. In the coming weeks, the Board will continue to meet and undertake the immediate and long-term work toward redressing harm and finding a way forward as a community. The Board will communicate regarding substantive actions in the coming weeks.
