As I’m certain you are aware, we have three positions on the Executive Staff currently filled on an interim basis. I want to share with you my plan for how we will proceed with filling these positions permanently.

I intend to begin with filling the vice president for Enrollment Management and Student Success. I have asked Dr. Doug Koch, interim provost, to chair the search, and the full search committee is listed below.



• Brady Barke, vice president for Intercollegiate Athletics
• Eric Chambers, director of Institutional Research
• Shan Howard, director of Regional Campuses
• Sophie Martin, president of the Student Government Association
• Amy Napper, director of Budget & Financial Management
• Rhonda Weller-Stilson, dean of the Holland College of Arts & Media
• Tonya Wells, assistant vice president for Marketing & Communications

We are partnering with AGB Search, a firm that specializes in higher education searches. AGB will be on campus next week, to gather input. Sessions will be scheduled with individual groups as well as an open forum listed below. If your schedule allows, please plan to attend and participate.

Following the search for the VP of Enrollment Management and Student Success, we will begin a search for the VP of Finance and Administration. Next, we will begin a search to fill the provost position.

It was important to me to share with you how I intend to move forward. We are fortunate those currently serving in the interim roles are accomplished, talented individuals. I greatly appreciate their efforts in maintaining momentum and supporting the institution.
