Last week in my monthly newsletter, I shared that we would have candidates on campus next week for the Vice President of Finance and Administration (VPFA). I also shared we would be forming a search committee to begin our search for a Provost.

After speaking with our Board of Governors, I want to provide an update to campus on these searches. At the Board’s request, we will temporarily suspend the VPFA search and pause beginning the Provost search.

Fortunately, we have strong interims in place in both roles with Dr. Gerald Shields and Dr. Doug Koch. I know they, and you, are dedicated to doing the business of the University, so we can continue making progress. 

As always, I greatly appreciate the work you do to support our students.
