Dear Colleagues,

As Thanksgiving grows closer, there is much to be thankful for at SEMO. We are thankful for bright spots in our fall enrollment. We are thankful for the many partners who have joined with SEMO this fall to make higher education more accessible for students. We are also thankful for our student-athletes and the success they have had this season. Mostly, I am thankful for every member of the SEMO community and what each of you brings to this University as we work to help students achieve their dreams.

With so much to be thankful for, I think it is appropriate that we start the holiday early, so I am announcing that we will close University offices for the previously scheduled half-day on Wednesday, Nov. 27. Offices will remain open through the close of business on Tuesday, Nov. 26. Please remind student workers who pick up paychecks at Human Resources to do so through 5 p.m. on Tuesday.

I hope this extra time off gives you more time to enjoy family and friends and to relax and recharge. Happy Thanksgiving!
