As a Scorpio Sun Sign and Cancer Rising, with lots of water in my chart, I create the perfect storm of being a super sensitive being who, in this life, is originally from Boston, MA. I often seek renewal, rebirth, and regeneration in the ocean, particularly a refreshing dip in the pristine, cold waters of the Northern Atlantic. It was my destiny to become an Ocean Oracle Reader, interpreting over 200 seashells. After more than forty years of traveling to our family’s summer house in Tisbury on Martha’s Vineyard, I have come to appreciate how invigorated I feel after a dip into the cold, choppy sea of the Atlantic on a warm New England sunny day, with a gentle breeze of clean, fresh sea air blowing through my hair. My New Hampshire/Maine to connect with the ancestors on my fathers side, the vision quest was perfectly planned from July 12 through July 21; it stood as a stark contrast and relief from the oppressive heat and humidity of record-breaking 101°F in DC, during the July 4th weekend, marking the 250th anniversary of the United States—a period astrologically reminiscent of the American Revolution, US Civil War and World War II; see more astrological historial details explained in depth below by Leo King and Dr Anne Wohlche historian podcast“ History In The Stars” its a long You Tube video chaulked full of historial information I had to watch it in segments to grasp the paralles of what is happening right now on our Blue Planet. The heat was so intense during the July 4th weekend that I experienced a migraine headache that I had not experienced in years, after just a couple of walks in the woods with my neighborhood dogs!

As the sun enters Leo, I felt compelled to consult the White Lion Leadership Deck. The collective reading I offer to my Earthlight friends is Zukara-Ra, who encourages us to rely deeply on our inner wisdom. We are reminded to look within and allow our inner light to shine brightly. Each of us serves as a beacon to those around us and should not conceal our true selves. I suggest asking the Lion God Zukara-RA to strengthen inner vision and wisdom, thereby guiding us toward right action.

On August 8, known as the 888 Lions Gate Portal, the Sun travels through the zodiac sign Leo and aligns with Sirius, the brightest star in the night sky. This is an especially auspicious time to create a private portal sacred sacrament ceremony in your backyard, on your porch, or on your patio. There is no need to travel to a designated sacred site, although participating in a group portal ceremony is also fantastic if you can find a group gathering that sparks your fancy. I recommend writing down what you wish to release; personally, I use bay leaves. When working with the native medicine people of the Andes, we used coca leaves; here in the USA, bay leaves are a good substitute, and I inscribed a simple sentence or word, such as “release emotional pain from a separation situation.” Place the bay leaf into a copper pot filled with various sages and a touch of flowers like lavender or rose petals. Adding crystallized frankincense and myrrh can further elevate the spiritual vibration of your prayers, helping them float right up to source. Ignite the contents, using a feather to fan the flames, and wait quietly; slow down your breathing until the fire extinguishes, or cover the pot with a lid to safely snuff out any smoldering leaves. You may notice that emotional pain begins to dissipate as the flames subside during this ritual and the smoke clears, often within a day of performing the ceremony. The following week on Wednesday, August 12, a solar eclipse occurs in the sign of Leo during the afternoon for those in the Greater Washington, DC area. For example, I intend to complete my book on how holistic, natural medicine and indigenous shamanism have helped me address emotional, physical, and spiritual imbalances. My goal is to start riding my bike again and regain a toned, fit athletic body; it’s just been tuned up and in my trunk waiting for a spin. Create a design, symbol, and simple words on the bay leaves for what you are desiring to let go and manifest, and put it into the fire.
