Graduation 2021 and welcoming our newest Alumni!
Graduation 2021 was held at Whitaker Bank Ballpark which was a wonderful venue for Baccalaureate and Graduation. Mass celebrated by Bishop John Stowe was held at 9:30 AM, with a break for concessions at 10:30, and at 11:00 the graduation ceremony began. When our graduates left the stage, they were greeted by Alumni Vice-Chair, Hunter Porter ’11, who welcomed them into the Alumni Association with their Alumni Association card. They then stood next to Hunter to greet the next new alum as they walked off the stage. It was a transitional process of welcoming our new graduates as Lexington Catholic alums. We are all excited to have 199 new members in our alumni association!
The 1st Annual George Ewen uKnight Cup presented by Commonwealth Credit Union
Monday, May 10, at The University Club of Kentucky was a great day for our golf scramble and fundraiser! We had 108 golfers that enjoyed the day full of golf, fun, and fellowship. There was a wonderful community spirit felt by all. Kim Ewen, George Ewen’s widow, started our golfers off with a beautiful prayer and finished by saying, "George would be the first one to say, ‘go out there everybody, have a wonderful time, and enjoy the day.’” We appreciate everyone’s participation and support. We are looking forward to the 2nd Annual George Ewen uKnight Cup in 2022.
