Welcome Home
Kristin Ford Milam '04
There is something exciting and fresh about the first day of school…seeing your friends after a long summer break, getting your books and syllabi, finding your locker, and anticipating the year to come.
As a 2004 alumna of Lexington Catholic, I am reliving my “first day of school” but this time as a new employee. I recently began in the role of Director of Annual Giving at Catholic and I could not be more thrilled. I am now able to work for the school that brought so much joy, education, and lifelong friendships to my life.
There are so many exciting things happening here at Catholic! Our athletic teams are gearing up for the season, our alumni reunion event, Fall Knight’s Bash is October 22, a Keeneland alumni outing is planned for October 23, and we will kick off our 8-week uKnight to Serve Challenge to launch our 2021-2022 Annual giving campaign for the uKnight Fund and support the Catholic Action Center.
Annual gifts to our uKnight Fund are the engine that drives innovation in the classroom and promotes affordability for every student at Lexington Catholic. Tuition dollars alone do not cover the cost of an LC education. Your support is so important to help ensure our alma mater remains a viable option. Gifts to the uKnight Fund support our school operations including tuition assistance, class materials, and new program resources.
I invite you to check out the website, stop by campus and say hello, or give me a call/send me an email. I would love to catch up and chat about what our LexCath students are up to today.
Go Knights!

Fall Knight’s Bash
Friday, October 22
7-11 PM
and
Keeneland Tailgate
Saturday, October 23
11 AM – 1 PM
Join in on our reunion celebration weekend. Everyone can attend! It does not have to be a reunion year, but a chance to come back home to LCHS and enjoy the knight! Friends of LCHS are welcome too!
Reunions can gather as a class before the Fall Knight’s Bash at the school in a reserved location, then join in with everyone for a great night of catching up and dancing to the tunes with those songs that bring back many memories of good times!
If there are certain songs, you would like to request to bring back those special memories, please let Pam Schneider know.
The Keeneland Tailgate is on the Hill at Keeneland. We will have snacks and drinks provided. When the tailgate is over, you can stay to enjoy Keeneland with your friends/group.
This is a great way to have your reunion as you can gather with others at Fall Knight's Bash and Keeneland and then, have Saturday afternoon, evening, and Sunday to gather with your class.
The LCHS versus Anderson County Homecoming football game is on Friday, October 22. If you would like to attend the football game during the Fall Knight’s Bash, please let us know. Contact Pam Schneider.

Hoagies 2.0 Coming Soon!
We are bringing Hoagies back on April 23, 2022! Stay tuned for all the information. We want our alumni to come back home, join in, have fun and serve our community too! It is a unique, community-building, wonderful, and much celebrated LCHS tradition!
History note: The first Hoagie Sales were launched in September 1977. Inspired by the promise of a hoagie holiday (half-day off from school before Thanksgiving), the student body sold over 9,000 hoagies in their first year and netted $5,300. In 2019, we sold almost 38,000 hoagies and made over $120,000.
