The Lexington Country Horse Show II

On Deck!

LEXINGTON, VAThe Lexington Country Horse Show II gets underway February 3rd through 5th at the Virginia Horse Center. “The plan is to hold all of the classes in the Anderson Coliseum this weekend,” commented Show Manager Steve Wall.


“We had a great time here for the first installment of the show and are looking forward to this coming weekend,” he added.


The show is USEF “National” Rated and recognized by the NCHJA, VHSA, MDHSA and SWVHJA and includes qualifying classes for the Virginia Hunter Championships and the Amy Y. Reistrup Equitation Challenge.


Lexington Country Horse Show II is also a great way to earn points for the Virginia Horse Center Series Awards which includes points earned from both Lexington Country Horse Show I and II and the Lexington Spring Welcome [March 2-5]. The Series Championships recognizes the Green Hunters (3’), Amateur Owner Hunters (3’6”), Green Hunters (3’3”), Amateur Owner Hunters (3’3”), Green Hunters (3’6”/3’9”), Pony Hunters Junior Hunters (3’6”), Children’s Hunters Junior Hunters (3’3”), Adult Hunters and Low Pre-Children’s/Adult Hunter. Prizes will be mailed or delivered following the final show.


“As a benefit for the Virginia Horse Center Foundation, we appreciate all of the competitors who showed with us at Lexington Country Horse Show I and hope they return for continued competition and camaraderie this weekend,” said VHC CEO Glenn Petty.
