THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 24
An Evening with Chad Sweeney:
Between Vision & Terror

Chad Sweeney will read from new work and from his recently published book-length poem, Little Million Doors, winner of the Nightboat Books Prize, an elegy for the living as well as the dead which traces the liminal spaces between life and death, male and female, time and timelessness, being and non-being as well as the visions and terrors of an autistic mind in crisis.

5:00–6:30 pm PST
FRiDAY: ANOTHER LiTFUSE FiRST
9am – 6pm: Master Classes with Chris Howell, Dennis Nurkse & Chad Sweeney

6:30 – 7:30pm: Virtual Cocktail Hour - Meet the Faculty

7:30 – 9pm: *** Another LiTFUSE first! *** - Faculty Reading
*** We're trying something new this year for the premier night of LiTFUSE 2020! Join us for a unique poetry reading, featuring personal faculty introductions and poems by our scholarship recipients AND a sneak peek reading of faculty work. It may not be a slam, or even "slam-ish," but it will most certainly be a celebration of poetry, community, and literary mentorship...and what could be more LiTFUSiAN than that? ***

Saturday & Sunday: Seven sessions of amazing classes, a digital-mingle cocktail hour, and keynote "Poetry and Crisis" by D. Nurkse.

For those eager to take the mic, never fear: our Open Mic will be Sunday afternoon with on-the-spot sign-ups via Zoom chat in (almost) the traditional LiTFUSE style.
