Libby Hickson Class Registration Begins Tomorrow (Friday!)

Welcome Back Libby!

We are delighted to welcome Libby Hickson back to the Clubhouse on Friday, October 3 and Saturday, October 4! Many of you know Libby from her work with Pink and Main (previously Hero Arts) where she continues to be a champion of independent paper crafting stores.

Foiling Master Class. Friday, October 3, 2-4pm. $30 This class is for beginners and experienced foilers alike!

Libby will start with the basics of foiling for those who need a quick lesson or refresh. Then she will show lots of additional techniques like the bleaching technique with distress ink & water to jazz up your foiled panels; how to incorporate foiling into cards & journals; and even a cool way to make foil embellishments with glue and foil. You will leave with lots of ideas and 3 beautiful cards!

Please bring your Minc machine to use during class if you have one. We will have several for store use. If you'd like to purchase the Pink Minc from Pink And Main, we are offering a 10% discount for anyone who reserves a machine BEFORE 9/26. (This will really help us to budget our buying dollars!)

Student Supplies Needed:

Water Reactive Inks in fall colors (I used Distress: Crackling Campfire, Rusty Hinge, Fossilized Amber)

Paintbrush & Water Container

Cloth or paper towels

Quickie glue pen

Plus Basic tool kit: paper trimmer; scissors; dry adhesive; wet (strong like Nuvo, Bearly Arts recommended) and foam adhesives; tweezers or pick up tool, pencil, ruler and anything else you need to create.

Come and make cards with Libby Hickson from Pink and Main. Each class will feature three adorable cards, one of which is interactive. Libby will share lots of tips and tricks along the way.

There will be a small extra supply list which we will post as soon as possible. You will definitely need to bring your own markers or pencils for coloring (Libby uses OLO alcohol markers, which we have in stock!) We will share the specific colors she is using soon, too.

Registration begins tomorrow (Friday, 9/12) at 10am. You can register in person at the store, online, or by calling 860-399-4443. Class must be paid for at the time of registration. Please contact us with any questions you might have.

Please note our class cancellation policy for Libby's visit: Cancellations received before the close of business on Saturday, 9/27/25 will receive a refund in the form of store credit only. Classes are non-refundable after 9/27/25 unless we can fill your seat from a wait list. IF we are able to fill your seat you will receive a refund in store credit only.
