Be realistic about your schedule. One of the advantages of being a self-employed personal trainer is that you can set your own hours. But it can often be the case that you find yourself taking on too much work because you don’t want to say no to clients. Decide on your schedule and stick to it – most clients will be more than happy to work around you, and if they won’t, it’s unlikely the relationship would work for long.
