Hello Christine,


Back in the day I was a flower and a butterfly!

Huh? You say? I was a dancer in the Easter Parade for 2 years at Disney World. I also was in Cinderellas Float for the Electric Light parade! Good times!

I remember looking for a roommate and met someone, Cindy, who was also in the parade who was looking for a roommate too. {Side note: I don't recommend moving in with someone you don't know.}

After we were all settled in and doing our separate jobs with our busy schedules - me working at Disney and waitressing, and she dancing in local stage shows, I noticed a pattern with her. Every time she would come home she would have some complaint about how other people were. It didn't matter if it was at work or at play, with friends or family, it seemed all of these people were annoying and bothersome. Nobody seemed to be able to do anything right. After hearing her stories, I realized the common factor was her!

Another friend whom I've known for years is now going through a divorce from his 4th wife. I have known several of them and I know him and again, I can't help but think that the common factor is him.


So, how can we show up in relationships? We know that we can be in relationships and be bothered by certain aspects of them. We all have our little "ways" of being. I read a book called "Human Being" and it was all about how to get along in relationships. It focused on listening for the emotions of others and trying to understand.


When we can bring out the best in ourselves it allows us to bring out the best in others as well. In any relationship we can release the petty things and focus on what's really important..... Loving Kindness!

The Yoga Sutras!

This whole year we will be exploring The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali to live a Yogic life according to these 196 sutras (short teachings).

In class your teachers will share the Sutras and give you handouts of sheets to explain more (for many of them---not all)

ABOUT AMY:

Amy is a mom of 2 girls. She is a special Education Coordinator. She enjoys yoga, ballet, dance, paddle boarding, and walking. She is a 200 hour RYT and certified Inside Flow teacher


ABOUT INSIDE FLOW:

Inside Flow is a dynamic style of Vinyasa yoga that integrates music and movement. It focuses on synchronizing breath with fluid transitions between poses, all set to contemporary music. Each class is choreographed to a specific song, creating a seamless flow where the poses and the rhythm of the music are in harmony.

Students can expect a unique experience where they move continuously with the music, enhancing their connection to their breath and body. It’s a creative and expressive practice that can be both physically challenging and emotionally uplifting. The emphasis on music makes it different from traditional yoga classes and can be particularly engaging for those who enjoy moving to a beat.
