Aaron Stefanich, Children’s Services Director, has been named the North Dakota Library Association's 2023 Librarian of the Year. 


Since 1992, this honor recognizes outstanding contributions to the North Dakota library profession. Aaron's fondest career memories revolve around people—colleagues, patrons, and even his own children experiencing storytime.

We're so excited to welcome GFKLug (Grand Forks LEGO User Group) to the library this December.


Opening night of the Annual Holiday LEGO Display will be Friday, December 1, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Tickets for this age 18+ event are $10 and include music, mocktails, and refreshments. All ticket proceeds support the Grand Forks Public Friends and future library programming. Ticket sales are limited to 250 guests, so get yours before they’re gone.


Opening weekend (free for all ages) will continue on December 2 and 3, and the display will remain open during regular library hours through December 22.
