Librarians Offer Top Picks from New Books in Collections
Katonah-Lewisboro's elementary school libraries have updated and replenished their collections. 

Students will find new books on engineering, biographies of contemporary sports figures, the latest volumes in favorite fiction and nonfiction series, and more.

Middle School Clubs and Intramurals Begin
The Environmental Club is just one of the thirty clubs and student organizations offered at John Jay Middle School.

The Club Fair, which took place recently in the school’s main hallway, gave students the opportunity to peruse all o f the clubs and student organizations and sign up for the ones that match their interests.

Ann Marie Lipinsky Designated a Master Teacher
Ann Marie Lipinsky. a science teacher at John Jay High School, has been designated a Master Teacher by the New York State Master Teacher Program.

In addition to teaching, Lipinsky also coordinates the Science Research program and the Westchester-Rockland Junior Science and Humanities Symposium.

Bryce Ford Receives Con Edison Scholastic Sports Award
Senior Bryce Ford, who plays quarterback/ safety, has received the Con Edison Westchester Scholastic Sports Award.

“Bryce is an outstanding young man and incredibly deserving of this honor,” said Christian McCarthy, Director of Health, Physical Education, Athletics and Wellness at John Jay High School.
