LIBRARY AFTER DARK: TEEN EDITION

HEY TEENS! The Downtown library will be shutting its doors to everyone BUT you for our very first Teen Edition of Library After Dark! Join us on Friday, July 25th, from 7-9 pm for a night full of fun and excitement. There will be game tournaments, Makerspace fun, Teen Center open house, crafting, shirt screening, pin making, snacks, and a SILENT DISCO! Grab a friend and come hang with us!


This event is a partnership of Redwood City Public Library and Redwood City Parks, Recreation and Community Services.

The Friends' Bookstore currently has two volunteer shifts available:

Plan First, File Right: A Beginner’s Guide to Business Formation


On July 28 at 10am, City of Redwood City and RightSource Services present a workshop for people interested in starting a business.


This beginner-friendly course walks you through LLCs, sole proprietorships, corporations, and more—explaining what they are, how they work, and how to align them with your goals. Whether you’ve already started or are just getting ready, you’ll leave with a clear understanding of how to form your business the right way, the first time.
