This month, we are highlighting the Healthcare section of VitalLaw. The Healthcare section of VitalLaw offers a wealth of information, from Medicare Explanation guides to Healthcare Compliance cases. It also features tax resources, state healthcare statutes and regulations, federal statutes, and CMS administrative decisions. You can also create your own Smart Charts to compare state and federal jurisdictions. Making your own Smart Chart is simple; it only takes a few clicks. Choose the topics you want to compare, then select the jurisdictions. It’s a quick way to compare different areas based on a topic. VitalLaw is available remotely or at the library.

Did you know the KCLL has several minor Guardianship resources? We have physical books, e-books, packets, and database resources available online and in the library.

Our minor guardianship resources cover everything from kinship care to Durable Power of Attorney for Parental Powers.

WashingtonLawHelp, the Family Law Facilitators, and Kinship Care Solutions Project also have several resources to help with navigating the minor guardianship process. The library will be hosting minor guardianship classes and Q&As in September & October.
