Beginning Monday, October 2, all three City of Santa Fe Public Libraries will be hosting a series of exhibits and workshops on contemporary book art through October 28 as part of the 'Celebration of the Book' being held in conjunction with National Book Month.

Exhibits and receptions also kick off a six-month 'Celebration of the Book' that includes many events, culminating with an exhibit at Santa Fe Community College in early 2024.

Saturday, October 7 | 1-2 PM

The Santa Fe Opera presents singers from its Young Voices high school program. Learn a little about opera and enjoy wonderful performances.

Thursday, October 5 | 5-7 PM

The public is invited to a reception featuring the art and artists featured in a 'Celebration of the Book' exhibit at the Main Library.

Friday, October 6| 4-5 PM

The public is invited to a reception and book arts drop-in workshop on Friday, October 6, from 2 pm to 5 pm as part of the ongoing 'Celebration of the Book'.

Friday, October 6 | 2-4 PM

Artists Helen Fabel and Julie Filatoff team up for a free workshop on creating book art.

A public reception to kick off the Southside Library's 'Celebration of the Book' exhibit and events.

Wednesday, October 4 | 6–7:30 PM

New Mexico State University's Stephanie Walker will present an informational program that will discuss New Mexico's connection with chile peppers as well as tips on harvesting, preserving and using them.

The Santa Fe Public Library is part of the City of Santa Fe's Community Services Division.
