Homeschool Crafternoon

For children ages 6-11. Stop by and make a craft in the Children's Department on the first Thursday of each month. Leave when you've finished the craft, or stay and hang out with other homeschoolers! This is a drop in program, no registration required.

Tail Waggin' Tutors
Thursdays, March 7 & April 4
6:30-7:30PM
For elementary school children. Practice reading with one of our dog tutors on the first Thursday of each month. Online registration is required for a 20-minute reading session with a literature lovin' pup!

Crafty Thursday
Thursday, March 14 1:30-3:30PM
March 14 is National Children's Craft Day! Stop by the storytime room between 1:30-3:30 and get crafty with Miss Glynnis. This is a drop-in program. No registration required.

LEGO Club

Join Ms. Janae in the Children's Department on the 3rd Tuesday of each month to work on the challenge of the month. Or, just free build with other LEGO enthusiasts. This is a drop in program, no registration is required. 1st-6th grades.

Drop-in STEAM Lab
Thursdays, March 28 & April 25

Stop in for our STEAM LAB. Create, learn, and explore during this drop-in program with a focus on STEAM. Takes place on the 4th Thursday of each month. All ages welcome. No registration required.

Superhero Party
Tuesday, April 9

The Library needs saving! Come dressed as a superhero and fight off the villains at our annual Superhero Program hosted by the Teen Advisory Board. No registration is required.

D.E.A.R. Day
Friday, April 12
D.E.A.R. stands for "Drop Everything And Read" and is celebrated annually on April 12 in honor of children's author, Beverly Cleary's birthday. Drop in the library anytime during open hours to complete a D.E.A.R. Day activity sheet. All ages welcome. No registration.

Please be sure to check all program descriptions for registration requirements. Due to space limits, many programs require registration, but some of them are "drop in."

Teen Food Lab

Do you like food? Join other teens to experiment, make and learn with food! Meet up in the Teen Zone on the first Wednesday of the month. Please let Ms. Janae know if you have food allergies!

Teen Advisory Board (TAB)
Mondays, March 11 & 25
4:00-5:00PM
Be an important part of the community by helping to plan and run events for kids and teens! TAB members also provide suggestions for new teen book and AV purchases for the library. Group typically meets every other Monday. Teens receive volunteer hours for all TAB events. No registration.

Teen DIY
Thursdays, March 14 & April 11
4:00-5:00PM
Stop in the Teen Zone to create a different Do-It-Yourself project each month. This is a drop in program, so no registration is required.

Teen Book Club
Thursdays, March 21 & April 18

Teens, stop by the Teen Zone to discuss the book pick of the month or perennial teen favorites. Meet other teen readers and get recommendations. Snacks provided. No registration required.

Teen Writers Club

Do you like to write short stories, poetry or prose? Come share your work and get feedback from other writers like you. There will be optional writing prompts and activities. Snacks provided, too!
