Author Talk
Hilda L. Norton
Tuesday, July 17th @ 7:00 pm 

  In 2010, Rex Norton, a lifelong musician and teacher suffered a debilitating stroke at the age of 83. A Stroke of Love by Hilda L. Norton tells the true story of Rex's miraculous recovery through the love bond of his wife Hilda and her reliance on prayer, music and laughter. 
A signed copy will be available for $20 per book. Hilda L. Norton will be donating the net proceeds to Hospice of Washington County for Doey's House.

Meet the Author: James Rada Jr

This summer, the news was filled with stories of a particularly virulent strain of flu. This year also marks the centennial of the outbreak of the Spanish Flu, which killed 60 million people worldwide in just two months.
James Rada, Jr. has written several articles and a historical novel about the outbreak of Spanish Flu.

  Concert in the Park: Sweet Maple Singers

A FREE family-friendly concert for all ages! With the combination of their uniquely developed abilities on harp, fiddle, mandolin, and guitar, Sweet Maple Singers share the music they love through a repertoire ranging from Traditional Folk music to more progressive feel-good songs.This concert is co-sponsored by the Hancock Branch of the Washington County Free Library and the Hancock Arts Council.
