Library News & Programs
For Adults & Children
Greetings from Director Stephanie Harrison

Summer is finally here! The library has lots of free things to make your summer more enjoyable: museum passes to fun places like the American Museum of Natural History, bestselling audiobooks on Libby like Atomic Habits by James Clear, streaming television series on Hoopla like A Discovery of Witches, movies on Kanopy such as On Chesil Beach, tools for your garden, backpacks for hiking, and wifi hotspots for camping. Let us help you make the most out of your summer!

Your input is always important to us, so please don’t hesitate to reach out to me at director@pattersonlibrary.org or to my staff if there is anything the library can assist you with.

Thanks,
Stephanie

Everyone Had A Blast At Our Summer Kick-Off!
Hundreds of people showed up for our Summer Reading, "Oceans of Possibilities," kick-off on June 24th with plenty of fun water activities. The waterslide was a big hit, as was the dunk tank where kids got to knock one of the Carmel Rams football players into the tank! Uncle Louie G's served excellent ice cream while Deputy Sheriff Hill delighted the kids with a demonstration featuring his dog Flash! Check out the many ocean-themed programs scheduled for the summer, and be sure to pick up a necklace to which you can add beads for every book you read. For information on our summer reading program, email YSC@pattersonlibrary.org or call Miss Jenn at 845-878-6121 ext. 13.
