Library News & Programs
For Adults & Children
Greetings from Director Stephanie Harrison
Our Great Give Back was a wonderful day to enjoy the beautiful fall season and collect much-needed items for Vet2Vet and United for the Troops. Thank you to all who donated toiletries and socks for our veterans, and Petersen's Patterson Greenhouses deserves special thanks for donating the pumpkins in our spooky pumpkin patch.

Looking forward, we have other opportunities for our patrons to help people in the community:

  • Our Teen Leadership Council will have a coat drive to benefit Putnam Community Action Partnership
  • We will host a holiday food drive for the Patterson Community Church Food Pantry
  • We will be a Toys for Tots drop-off site

Let's all continue working together to create a stronger and more resilient community!

The Great Give Back
It was another fantastic day at the library. Everyone had a blast at our Annual Great Give Back Event. The kids came in costumes and had fun playing games, making crafts, and trick-or-treating at the activity stations. They enjoyed strolling through our spooky pumpkin patch as they picked out the perfect pumpkin, courtesy of Erik Petersen and Petersen's Patterson Greenhouses. The community also generously contributed to our toiletry and sock collection for the Vet2Vet organization, while the little ones made it extra special by making beautiful cards for our veterans.
'Tis the Season of Giving
Every year we are overwhelmed by the generosity of our community. As the holiday season approaches, many of our neighbors need help. This year we are once again working with several local groups. Donations can be dropped off during library business hours. Thank you for continuing to care for those in our community.
Help our neighbors in need by donating non-perishable food for our Holiday Food Drive to benefit our local food pantry. The library and the Patterson Community Church collect food and toiletry items throughout the year. Please check the expiration date on all donated items. Thank you!
