Giving Retrievers: Coping with Changes through the Companionship of Dogs

Let the human-animal bond help you process the negative social and emotional effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. This canine-integrated program, led by LCSW Judith Halden is designed to help adults ease stress and anxiety.
Groups sessions run for 4 consecutive weeks and will be held on the EPL Outdoor Patio, weather permitting. In the event of inclement weather, the program will take place in the Rashkoff Room. Group size is limited to 8 adult participants. One-time registration is required to attend all 4 sessions in a specific time slot.
Dates: September 23rd, September 30th, October 7th and October 14th
Unable to make the September series? Additional four- week sessions will begin on October 21st as well as November 25th.
Giving Retrievers is a Canine-Integrated Social Enrichment program designed to promote social engagement, relationship building self-advocacy and confidence building.
