Library Funding Is at Stake ... Again!

Call, Write, Email, Tweet, and Text Congress Members
Let them know your library is a critical part of Your Community

The coming eight weeks are critical in the fight for library funding. The White House released its FY 2021 budget proposal and - for a fourth time in a row - seeks to completely eliminate the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) which helps fund innovative library programs throughout the country! OUr Illinois Congress, fortunately, has recognized the value of libraries and has consistently voted to fund the agency and the funds it administers through Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA). Thank your members of Congress for their continued support, and tell them how you value your community library.
