All Bridgeport Public Library locations will be closed Saturday, Sept. 3rd and Monday, Sept. 5th in observance of Labor Day.
Normal operations will resume Tuesday, Sept. 6th.

Your creations will be put on display in the Children’s Room for a week. We supply the LEGOs ~ You supply the imagination! Ages: 4 – 12. 

Thursday, Sept. 8, 12:30-4:30 at North Branch
Refresh your driving skills with the AARP Smart Driver Course. You will learn defensive driving techniques, proven safety strategies, and new traffic rules and laws of the road. Classroom course for AARP members $20 and for non-members $25.

WEEKLY KIDS PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

Join our children’s librarians for special storytime series on Tuesday mornings starting at 10 AM at Seaside Park! Come for stories, songs, movement, and fingerplays! We’ll meet under the big tree in a grass area on the right side from the arches.

Join Ms. Michele, Mabel (The Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly), and the Philadelphia Chickens for a fast, fun story hour where we’ll read stories, sing silly songs and dance to the sillier music of Disney and Sandra Boynton!

Free coding lessons for children using Scratch and Blockly. These visual programming languages are easy to learn and great for beginners. No prior coding experience is necessary. For children, ages 8-12 years old.
Fridays days, 11:00 am - 11:45 am at North Branch Children’s Department
Please join Miss Bina IN PERSON at the North Branch for a fun packed storytime with songs, rhymes, and books! Geared for ages 0-5, children and caregivers will share in singing, chanting, banging pots and pans, and more!
The CDC recommends the primary series of the COVId-19 vaccine for everyone over the age of 5, and a booster for everyone over the age of 12 years old. In some cases, people may be eligible for a second booster.
