August Art Exhibit

Featherstone Drawing Group

August 1 - August 26

During open hours

Local artists from the Featherstone Drawing Group will exhibit their art in the library’s Program Room for the month of August. The exhibit, entitled "The Beat Goes On: Work from Featherstone Life Drawing Sessions,” includes work by Chip Coblyn, Patricia Kelly, Elizabeth Langer, Richard Limber, John Wolff, Sharon O'Sullivan, and Virginia Stone. The artists meet regularly for life drawing sessions each Tuesday at Featherstone Center for the Arts, continuing the long-standing tradition that began in the 80s with local artist Tom Maley.

To read the artists’ statement and learn more about the exhibit, click here.

Meet the exhibiting artists for a reception at the library on Thursday, August 6th from 6:00-7:30 PM. Light refreshments will be served.

The exhibit is available to view when the Program Room is not in use.
