Beautiful Book Sale Donation Drop Off


For the gift-giving season, beautiful gift-worthy books are being collected for a special beautiful book sale. On Thursday December 5th book donations will be accepted and Friday December 6th, book donations will be accepted between 5pm and 7pm.

A special gift-giving season used book sale containing only beautiful, like-new, special books ideal for gifting to loved ones.

Holiday Make & Take

Crafts for Kids


Drop in for a kids' holiday craft event. We'll have five tables set up so kids can drop in, make some crafts, and bring their creations home with them.

Listening Tour with State Senator-elect Dylan Fernandes


Massachusetts State Senator elect for the Plymouth and Barnstable district Dylan Fernandes will be visiting the Jonathan Bourne Public Library Community Room on Tuesday December 10th. Please come and let your senator hear your cares and concerns.

with Big Ryan


Big Ryan brings his tall tales to the JBPL. Young ones will want to come and be entertained by renowned story teller Big Ryan and his silly stories.

T Swift Birthday Party


Come celebrate Taylor's birthday with your fellow Swifties. We'll have plenty of activities to choose from. There will be a crafts table for friendship bracelets and book bags, pin the mustache on Travis Kelce, T-Swift karaoke, and dancing to your favorite songs. We'll be serving a Taylor Swift brithday cake and light snacks. This events is for ages 6-10.

Gingerbread House Decorating for Kids


Kids are welcome to come build gingerbread houses in the library. Please bring a bag of candy to decorate the houses with to share.

Drop in a watch a holiday kid's movie at the library. On Friday December 20th we'll be viewing Merry Madagascar. There will be a craft and you are welcome to bring snacks and drinks.

Fresh Floral Holiday Centerpiece Workshop


Please register and join us for a holiday floral craft event. We'll make floral centerpieces for the holidays.
