Changes to Check-Out Policy
Due to popular demand, we've recently made some changes to our check-out policies. These changes are designed to give you access to more of your favorite library materials and to let you keep them longer.

Each patron may now check out up to 50 items, with these limits on the following categories:
  • 1 Popular DVD
  • 1 Popular book
  • 1 Popular CD audiobook
  • 5 each of the following: DVDs, videotapes, CD audiobooks, cassette audiobooks, Playaways, and music CDs
  • 6 OverDrive e-books or downloadable audiobooks.
The check-out period remains three (3) weeks for all items except for DVDs, which may be checked out for one week.

Popular items (pink tape on spine), New items (yellow tape on spine), and DVDs are now renewable! They may be renewed one time as long as they are not on hold for another patron. The renewal policy for other materials has not changed - up to three (3) renewals are allowed for items not on hold. At this time, OverDrive e-books and downloadable audiobooks are not renewable.
Free Tax Preparation Help
AARP tax aide
The Library is fortunate to have a dedicated group of AARP volunteers who come each year to help people with their tax returns. Years ago, this service was limited to the elderly, but that is no longer the case.

Volunteers are available in the Si Birch Community Room on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 10 am until 2 pm.  The AARP Tax-Aide service is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. The volunteers will be working through mid-April.
