Geocaching, an international GPS-facilitated treasure hunt, is celebrating its 25th anniversary. The "Cache Odyssey" geocache placed at the library receives a dozen or more visitors a month from people as far away as Hawaii! Learn more about this fun family adventure program at Geocaching.com, or look for our Introduction to Geocaching workshop scheduled for August 11 at 7 pm.

The United States of America is just one year away from the 250th anniversary of independence. There are many events planned to commemorate Monmouth County's pivotal role in the Revolution.

Dr. Nathaniel Scudder of Freehold is the only member of the Continental Congress killed in action during the American Revolution.

Pick up a copy of the Little Book of Dr. Nathanial Scudder at the library. This is one of the library's "Little Books" series.

BIG KID volunteer program runs Tuesdays & Wednesdays in July starting 7/8. Registration is required.
