We at Freehold Public Library thank you, our many friends, for your expressions of concern and support following the major incident at the library in late April. Between the calls, emails, Facebook posts, flowers, visits just to say "hello," drawings and posters, delicious treats, and even cards and notes left in our book return, we have felt our spirits lifted.

Our membership cards say "in the heart of Freehold Borough." Your response demonstrates this has a greater meaning than we originally assigned to the phrase.

We look forward to resuming our regular schedule as soon as possible. Your continued patience is appreciated.
