Painted Barn Board Quilt

Barn Board Quilts can be found in rural areas all around the country. Come learn about this art and create your own square. This workshop will give instruction and tools to create your pattern and paint a barn board square on canvas. Paint, relax and have fun!

Grow Play Learn with ME

Join Pathways for Parents CFCE for Grow Play Learn with ME.
This group will include a storytime curriculum, as well as play activities and the Ages and Stages Questionnaire. In person at the Library.
Stuffed Animal Sleepover

Drop off your stuffed animal Tuesday, 8/2 anytime before 6:00PM for a night at the library.
Your stuffed animal will have many tales to tell and pictures to share from their sleepover adventure at the library!
Storytime Wednesday, 8/3 @ 10:30. Listen to stories and find out what silly things your stuffed animals did during the night.
My First Words

My First Words is a four-class program presented by speech pathologist Samantha Bernier of Pathways for Parents CFCE which focuses on early communication and how to support infant speech and language development.
This program is co-hosted by Storrs Library and East Longmeadow Public Library at The Apple Place in East Longmeadow.

The Sounds of Reading
Wednesday, 8/10 @ 10:00 Ages 2-5
This music-based early literacy program introduces creative ways to incorporate music and sound into books for young children and their caregivers. We will explore, teach and interactively read stories that incorporate song, sounds, rhythms, and rhyme. 
We will utilize instruments, chanting, and body percussion to engage children and families in a dynamic and interactive style. Families will also gather a list of resources and books to take home and try on their own.
STEAM Friday, 8/12
Drop in between 11:00-3:00
NO Registration required!
Drop-in any time between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm and enjoy creative fun with a variety of building materials.
No registration is needed.
