Amazing Architectural Sculpture from Ten American Colleges & Universities

Mathew Duman embarked on a “grotesque safari”, traveling to 10 universities around the country to photograph the unique grotesques and gargoyles roosting on their academic buildings. He has collected his findings in his book called: “The Grotesque 10: Amazing Architectural Sculpture from Ten American Colleges and Universities “. This program will feature photos from his book and stories about the sculptures. Participants in this group will receive developmental milestone information, ways to engage in floor time play, resources, and opportunities to connect to other caregivers of children this age.

This group will include a storytime curriculum, fun play activities, and the Ages and Stages Questionnaire. Registered participants will be signing up for all 3 sessions.

This virtual group will meet on Zoom.

Children and families will explore the concepts of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math while completing the activity provided. 

Families can pick up the materials at the library after registration.


Kit Creation Ages 3-5

Create a Playdough Sensory experience with materials to develop your own play scene. 

This month's theme is fall. Children will have fun creating fall scenes using homemade playdough.
