November 2023
A Message from the State Librarian
Greetings!

November’s holidays bring opportunities to celebrate and to reflect on significant topics. Veteran’s Day provided the opportunity to thank veterans for their service, and this Thanksgiving week is an excellent opportunity to express gratitude to our dedicated library and archives colleagues who work so hard to serve communities.

November is also National Native American Heritage Month. Celebrate with these helpful resources providing information on Native American, Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian, and affiliated Island communities, helping to ensure their rich histories and contributions are recognized.

Enjoy the beautiful fall weather and holiday time with family and friends!
